Provides up-to-date disability related information and community resources and assists people according to their need.
If you suddenly find yourself in a situation without the answer-call information and referral at WCIL. Everything from people with disabilities needing a place to live, bus tokens and taxi vouchers because of emergency appointments (Access Services only serves people with disabilities that call 24 hours in advance), explanations of WCIL services and programs, telephone numbers for community services such as Protection and Advocacy, housing rights center, etc. Information and referral staff is a dynamo on the computer-can find anything and speaks three foreign languages-Spanish, German and Polish.
